I've literally been coming here for decades. Gondola Pizza uses the best ingredients. The sausage and cheese in particular are so, so good.
The antipasto salad is also good. I don't recommend branching out to their pastas and other items. Pizzas and antipasto salads. Best in the US. I kid you not. -

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Place was not busy, just a steady flow of customers.
We ordered wings and a large pizza.
Ladies rest room... No Toilet paper. Tables, floors, seating in dining area, nothing wiped down. Had to flag one of the numerous employees working to do so. Place needs a deep cleaning. Service was ok.
Wings came out soggy and undercooked. We sent back. We also asked for ranch, came with blue cheese. 2nd time around of wings were dine correctly. Nobody likes soggy slimy buffalo wings.
Now the pizza is very good. Crust stays crispy. We enjoyed the pizza.
Large 5 topping, half order of wings, and two sodas, will run you little over $40. Kind of pricey in my opinion.
Might be back. -

I wanted to leave a review while the experience was fresh in my mind.
First time here. Excited to try the pizza here and see what all the hype is about.
Food
Pizza and pasta were both good, but doesn't live up to the hype
Service
Placed a phone order. Lady was cordial, but not superb in customer service skills. When I asked questions, would respond briefly and say she'll hand me a take out menu when I get here.
Lady told me the pasta comes with a salad and asked what dressing I would like. When I asked her what dressings were available, she again said she'll hand me a take out menu when I arrive. Made me feel bad for asking questions.
When I arrived and saw the menu, noticed the pasta comes with soup or salad. She never offered me this choice.
Value
Prices went up. Can't do halfsies with gourmet pizzas. Everything has a price tag. Asked for jalapenos and it costs an extra dollar. Asked for extra sauce for the pasta and it costs another three dollars. -

Lived in whittier for over 18 plus years and finally had the chance to visit this place with my fiance who just loves Italian Food. The staff was super friendly, the food was so good! We ordered the Small Deluxe Pizza (no anchovies), fettuccine Alfredo (you can taste the Garlic) and spaghetti with meatballs! This hidden gem is deffinately a go to spot. Shock Top Pitcher finished the meal perfectly. Will definitely be back again.

I've been coming here for years starting when I lived close by. Now that I'm further away it's a bit of a treat to come here when I'm in the area. The pizza here is always first rate with plenty of great tasting options to add to your favorite pie. This place gets really busy in the evenings and all day on the weekends. Over the the years this place has always maintained a high standard and I never fail to recommend it to anyone who's in the area.
